Deej and I play a word game from the newspaper every day. We like to live close to the edge.

You know the kind of thing: a circle of 9 letters, and you have to find the 9 letter anagram and as many words with 3+ letters as you can.

Obviously we don't check the answers in the paper. The point is to BEAT EACH OTHER. As it is so important to win, we each instituted a separate list of 'dodgies' for back up. In my case this often consists of interesting-sounding words that, if they don't exist, jolly well should.

Anyway, we were comparing words and when he said he had 'radii' I said disparagingly, "Oh, what's that meant to be then, the plural of radio??"

Oh shut up.

Mini error

I saw a post on Facebook about the London to Brighton Mini Run. I exclaimed, "How can you have a mini run from London to Brighton? It's over 50 miles!!" Deej looked at me, not sure if I was being serious or not. "Mini CARS," he said before he keeled over laughing.

Yes okay, it was a minor error. A Mini Minor error.
